What is Biophysical Energy Therapy?

What is Biophysical Energy Therapy by Jette Breitehstein

Today, your body produces every minute: 10 million white blood cells, 170 million red blood cells and 500 million platelets. That's 680 million units per minute or 11 million per second. The bone marrow is an independent system that can become imbalanced.

Shockwave was first used in 1980 to break down kidney stones. Today, more than 40 million people have been treated with this technology. The first published research on the use of shockwave therapy was by Dr Loew in 1993, who used it to treat calcific tendonitis of the shoulder cuff.

With the proven results outlined in their published research, the therapy gained significant attention and momentum. Dr Caminoto conducted further eye-opening research in 2005 on horses with lesion-affected ligaments. This research provided detailed information on how shockwave therapy significantly facilitates the healing process.

The 10 horses included in the research trial were treated three times at three-week intervals. The result of the treatment was that the horses had more small newly formed collagen fibrils and greater expression of transforming growth factor beta -1 four weeks after the last treatment than when the trial started.

Researchers have shown numerous benefits of shockwave therapy's ability to accelerate healing. One study showed significant improvement in bone strength in a biomechanical study. The applications of traditional shockwaves were later expanded to include bone, joint and skin conditions.

Professor Andrew Hague has made significant technological advances, and the therapy used today is called CS-VIPP energy therapy.

Biophysical energy therapy is an alternative form of treatment that focuses on manipulating the body's energy fields to promote healing and wellness. This form of therapy is based on the idea that the human body is not only made up of physical matter, but also energy fields that can be influenced to improve health and wellness.

Basic principles

  1. Energy fieldsThe body is believed to have subtle energy fields that are vital to its function and health. Most of the body has an electrical charge, both within cells, but also collectively synergistically.
  2. Holistic approachBiophysical Energy Therapy looks at the human being as a whole, where physical, mental and emotional health are interconnected.
  3. Self-healing: Emphasises the body's natural ability to heal itself.

Areas of application

  • Stress reduction: Often used to reduce stress and promote relaxation.
  • Pain relief: Can be used to relieve pain, including chronic pain.
  • Promoting general well-being: Used to improve overall health and energy levels.

Treatment methods

  • CellSonic VIPP: Biophysical Energy Therapy uses CellSonic's advances to significantly accelerate healing and increase blood flow. Power is often called energy and vice versa.
  • CellSonic TimeMachine: is used for effective skin treatment, as it is assumed that creams do not affect more than the first skin layers. In Cellulitis, for example, all skin layers can be infected.
  • Psychological tools: Specific exercises or techniques may be recommended to improve energy flow, oxygenation and alertness
  • Meditation and relaxation techniques: These can be included as part of therapy to promote balance, calmness and alertness.
  • Sleep scheduling: In recent years, sleep has been proven to have a greater impact on stress, energy, illness and healing.

Scientific basis

It is widely recognised that the body contains 5 systems:

  • Nervous system
  • Circulation system
  • Respiratory system
  • Digestive system and
  • Musculoskeletal system

Also included under the above are

  1. Endocrine system: Consists of glands that release hormones. These hormones regulate the body's growth, metabolism and sexual development and function.
  2. Immune system: Protects the body against diseases and infections. This includes white blood cells, the lymphatic system and other defence mechanisms.
  3. Integumentary system (skin system): Includes skin, hair and nails. It protects the body from the outside world, regulates body temperature and enables sensory perception.
  4. Urinary system: Consists of the kidneys, bladder and urinary tract. This system removes waste products from the body and regulates water and electrolyte balance.
  5. Reproduction system: Responsible for the production of gametes and, in the case of women, foetal development.

Biophysical energy therapy is controversial within the conventional medical world, as its effectiveness and principles often lack solid scientific backing. However, proponents argue that the therapy can offer valuable additional benefits, particularly in terms of wellbeing and quality of life.

Biophysical energy therapy offers an alternative approach to health and wellness, focused on the body's energy fields. Although it lacks widespread scientific recognition, some people choose this form of therapy as a complement to traditional medicine, especially to improve their overall wellbeing and manage stress.
