Do you suffer from eczema on your palms? Jette Breitenstein and Cellsonic

If you suffer from eczema on the palms of your hands - read on

Many people experience periods of irritation or eczema on the palms of their hands, which can manifest as dryness, redness, small cracks or discomfort when moving their fingers. When the skin reacts, it can affect both wellbeing and everyday functions. It is always important to get a medical assessment for persistent skin changes so that the cause can be professionally clarified. At the clinic, we meet people who want support to calm the body, improve balance and relaxation, especially when stress or strain affects their overall wellbeing. Our work is not about diagnosing or treating skin conditions, but about supporting the body's energy system and creating a space where the body can find more peace.

Eczema on the palms can be socially inhibiting

Eczema on the hands can be socially inhibiting because hands are one of the first things other people notice. Redness, dryness, cracks or sores can cause discomfort or insecurity, especially in situations where you have to shake hands, work closely with others or use your hands visibly. Many people find that those around them misinterpret eczema as contagious, which can lead to touch anxiety and avoidance. This can affect confidence, work relationships and social activities. When it's accompanied by pain or irritation, it becomes even more stressful. Therefore, hand eczema can affect much more than just the skin - it also affects everyday life and social relationships.

A client says:

“I had been experiencing irritation and eczema in my palm for some time. My fingers felt tight and it was uncomfortable to stretch and bend them. After two sessions, I noticed that the skin became finer and calmer. The itching stopped and there was no longer any tightness in my fingers. I could stretch and bend them again without discomfort. I don't know what exactly made the difference, but I felt a clear calmness in my body and less stress.”

Clients' experiences are individual and vary from person to person. Some experience increased inner peace, others feel relaxation or less focus on discomfort.

Biophysical energy therapy works with the body's state of tension and energy flow and can provide an experience of deep calm and grounding. We do not diagnose or treat illnesses, and in the case of skin changes we always recommend contacting a doctor.
